If we have time, and if it's an easy task, could we cover how to create a dropbox for discussion questions answers to be submitted?

I have the instructions to create individual discussions

the grade book category is where you would have all of one type discussion together. Example...I have discussion category and week 1 discussion, week 2 , week 3... in it. The gradebook will have all of them together under the category discussion. I would prefer to show all week 1's different assignments together, so maybe name the category week 1.

Quiz option "Exceeds" allows you to embed bonus points in the test, while "Bonus" turns that test to bonus in its entirety.

from google...for students to see the questions/answers...they click the arrow on the right side of the quiz name (under the Quiz Tool section) select Submissions from the drop down menu. Click on the quiz attempt. This will display all the questions, what the student answered, and the correct answers.

How can we setup weighted grade as tests 35 % quizzes 30% assignments 35% etc.?

Under Course Tools, the second option is Import Template. It automatically chooses Ayersman Sandbox. This had less steps, and the copy was clean.

I received this recommendation from Harmony at WVNET:My suggestion would be to have any instructor who is giving an incomplete to export their Full Grade Center, as well as an activity report for those students who will have to complete their work this spring in Brightspace. That way the instructor will know which activities the student needs to complete to finish their course.
